Cucumber Lime Cooler with Alkalizing Greens

There are some drinks that just seem like wellness in a glass. This is one of them.

It’s green (the pretty kind). It’s fresh. It’s zingy. It’s so wildly hydrating and light, and yet it tastes so rich and sophisticated at the same time, you will be confounded about how mere things like water, lemons and cucumbers can join forces to be so delicious.

This Cucumber Lime Cooler is what I go to when my body needs a reset, but I still want it to feel special. Think cucumber water all the way ascended — and with some fresh-squeezed lime, mint and a scoop of PlantFusion’s Alkalizing Greens for a bit of an extra-good-for-you kick. It’s delicately sweet, so refreshing, and it comes together in minutes with ingredients you most likely already have in your fridge.

It’s your summer hydration hero, basically. Clean, cool, green, and grounding.

Ingredients:

(Makes 2 servings)

  • 2 cups cold water or coconut water
  • 1 scoop PlantFusion Alkalizing Greens
  • ½ large cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or raw honey (optional, to taste)
  • A few fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: splash of sparkling water for fizz

Directions:

  1. Mix the base.
In a pitcher or shaker bottle, combine the cold water, Alkalizing Greens, lime juice, and maple syrup. Stir or shake until the greens dissolve completely.
  2. Muddle the flavor.
In two glasses, add cucumber slices and a few mint leaves. Gently muddle them using the back of a spoon or a muddler to release the flavors.
  3. Pour and serve.
Fill the glasses with ice, then pour the green lime mixture over the top. Add a splash of sparkling water if you’re feeling fizzy.
  4. Garnish & enjoy.
Top with extra cucumber, mint, or even a lime wheel if you want to get fancy. Sip and feel instantly refreshed.
